Not feeling normal

Featuring the wobbly bits: This isn't the new normal because there isn't a new normal any more than there is a normal. This is a moment in time. One you might forget, one you might remember, you never know. That's normal.

"For some reason somebody decided to pull up a Burger King waste bin that was bolted to the pavement by the restaurant and move it some 100 metres to an alternative resting place. There it sits, newly arrived on the pavement, slightly askew and uneven on the ground as there are bent and rusty bolts protruding from it's bottom. The rubbish that it had collected remains inside and indeed people passing are still using it to discard their own litter. It stands alone, still dutifully collecting waste. I wonder if anyone from Burger King will rescue it and return it to it's rightful place, or is it now up to some public minded citizen to take recovery action? What's normal anyway?"
